• .Horizontal well placement in optimum reservoir interval in most challenging geological settings including both carbonate and clastic reservoirs.
• Pre and Post well analysis, 3D modeling for geosteering purposes using geosteering softwares.
• Working in close coordination with Well Planning and Directional Drilling team to devise and later alter the well trajectory as the geosteering job requires.
• Open hole log analysis and QC, real time decision making during the geosteering jobs to keep the well trajectory within the target interval.
• Borehole image log interpretation (GR, Resistivity, and Density) and dip picking.
• Attending and presenting pre/post well meetings, completion meetings, providing suggestions and recommendations from geosteering perspective.

Sultanate Of Oman

• Describing cuttings, advising drilling personnel at well site of expected lithological sequence, pay zones, casing seats, rate of penetration and possible hazardous intervals.
• Correlate and interpret the geology of the adjacent area with the current well.
• Logging Unit management, supervising the mud logging job on well site.
• Core point selection, core handling, description and shipment on well site.
• Supervise acquisition, packing and shipment of cutting samples (wet and dry), gas samples (Isotube).
• Preparing well final report related to the assignment, ensuring that all pertinent data is saved in the system.
