About Gene Dixon

I have been fortunate in my career as a cleared Geospatial Professional to have had the opportunity to apply Geospatial technologies to a wide range of disciplines such as: The Intelligence Community, Humanitarian Relief, Engineering, Forestry, Transportation and Archaeology. To me, the fun and excitement of working in the Geospatial Industry has been that spatial data can be used within a wide range of disciplines. And while each industry has its own unique set of challenges and idiosyncrasies, the essentials of team and Geospatial Technology management are the same.As a collaborative team player, a project manager, a Geospatial problem solver and a technical trainer, I have planned, built, and delivered Geospatial projects that not only show case the present but highlight the future.I believe that the reason for my success is that I truly enjoy my work and that inspires me to stay up to date on the current technologies so that I will be prepared for my next challenge.
