Serve as the Army’s technical and tactical experts in terrain analysis and Geospatial Information and Services (GIS). Responsible for the assimilation, integration, and management of Geospatial data and products for use in Army Mission Command Systems and they perform analysis that aides the commander and staff in visualizing the terrain and understanding its impact on all military operations. As the geospatial technical expert, they collaborate with the planning staff and participate in each step of the Military Decision Making Process, enabling them to provide the right information at the right time to facilitate decision making. They may serve as the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the GEOINT cell, where they work with imagery analysts to produce mission-focused Geospatial-Intelligence (GEOINT) products that enable situational understanding.

Civil Information Management Cell (CIM Cell) for 402nd Civil Affairs Batallion as Theater-level CIM NCO at a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) in support of U.S. SOUTHCOM AOR. Research, conduct, coordinate, analyze, plan, and produce CA-related documents and actions, supporting all functions of specialty missions. Provides GEOINT to the commander and staff with the initial framework for visualizing the human terrain. Assist with civil-military planning and support all aspects of military planning and ground force operations.• RFI management, to include assessing the validity, opening, updating, and closing.• Gathered data from Civil Affairs Team reports to create the Common Operating Picture.• Evaluate geospatial data gathered from the field and other sources, compare it with the existing databases, and incorporate the validated data into the geospatial foundation for SOUTHCOM, SOCSOUTH, and 1stMSC.• Identified gaps in gathering information and coordinated with the CMOC or J37 OIC to collect geospatial data through civil reconnaissance, civil engagements, or assessments.• Performed human terrain analysis with Palantir, ArcGIS 10.5, SIDE 2.0 Library, SGE, and SC GRID Used imagery, elevation data, vector data, and text-based data and reports to fill gaps in GEOINT coverage.• Integrated GEOINT to the operating procedures of Civil Affairs at the theater & regional level for the whole SOUTHCOM AOR and described the physical and human terrain to the staff facilitating a better understanding of the Operational Environment for the decision-making process.• Created metadata for all layers and documented procedures for the RIP/TOA while deployed at SOCSOUTH to ensure continuity• Analyzed 3,438 Humanitarian Aid Program (HAP) nominations from OHASIS for 31 countries by fiscal year dating back to 2011 for cost comparison and nominating organization• Trained 25 Panamanian Special Forces Soldiers from Seguridad Nacional Fronteriza (SENAFRONT) on the use of Palantir.
