As the Operations Manager I was responsible for all Engineering and Shop operations. I managed a contract providing operations and maintenance activities to the Air Force Research Laboratory's Experimental Capabilities Wind Tunnels at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio.My team consisted of Engineers, and technicians that supported all aspects of the Wind Tunnel operations.

Work with director to develop a maintence program. Manage facility operations and maintenance ($3 Billion ~1,000,000 SqFt. facility) within budget. Responsibilities include the management of 28 employees including custodians, technicians, and supervisors. Develop, maintain, and coordinate the execution of the facility operational and maintenance plan. Coordinate large facility events including utility maintenance outages and public facility tours. Built a cohesive team challanging the existing culture and creating a fun and efficient workplace.

Work with the program manager to manage all operations at the client’s location. Including the management of 29 employees including technicians, supervisors, and engineers. Responsible for the successful completion of all automotive testing and maintenance operations for three automotive climatic wind tunnels within budget. Increased test accuracy, decreased budget, and increased test throughput.

Develop and coordinate automotive testing and maintenance activities for full scale automotive climatic wind tunnels. Work with client to coordinate the development and completion of tests accurately and reliably. Troubleshoot all aspects of testing including test article function, instrumentation, and facility controls/equipment.

Setup and operate automotive exhaust test laboratory, including test equipment specification, installation, configuration, and startup. Worked with clients to develop repeatable laboratory durability tests. Coordinate calibration and maintenance activities for test equipment and test instrumentation.Assist program management in new program development. Duties involve technical understanding and expertise of products (automotive exhaust systems), met with customers on program production issues, work with designers and prototype technicians for new product development.

Develop and review projects to improve processing plant efficiencies. Duties involve understanding and analyzing processes and equipment, develop preliminary engineering costs, budget for projects, and management of projects.Work with contractors on project development and contract negotiations
