Michael Geraghty has an extensive background in home furnishings design and manufacturing as well as in construction.Mr. Geraghty first gained design and production experience as a co-owner of a multi-million dollar bedroom furniture manufacturing company. He went on to build and ultimately sell two home furnishing related manufacturing companies. Mr. Geraghty also has over 30 years experience in the design, production and importation of a wide range of home furnishings related products. Before starting Overnight Kitchens, Mr. Geraghty lived in Hong Kong for a year. This experience led to the creation of Natural Elegance ® cabinets and later EuroQuartz ® counter tops. These products were designed by Mr. Geraghty and are built to his specifications.Mr. Geraghty first gained construction experience as the owner-builder of several residential projects in the 1980-90’s, and became a licensed general contractor (Five Star Kitchens & Baths Inc. license 872520) shortly after founding Natural Elegance ® in 2004. The company’s products have been installed in tens of thousands of southern California kitchens and bathrooms.Until recently, the company was one of Southern California’s best kept secrets, known only to builders, developers and apartment building owners and property management companies. In mid 2012 the company opened its first homeowner-oriented showroom, Overnight Kitchens, in Lawndale, CA.One of the reasons the company can install kitchens so quickly is its extensive inventory. Most kitchen stores – even the “big box” stores – order most of their cabinets from “middlemen” or from factories after the client places their order. This usually means it will be 4 to 8 weeks before the cabinets will arrive and be installed.
