Experienced pharmacist with a demonstrated and successful history of working within hospital, community and strategic pharmacy settings. A dedicated professional with an additional interest in research and wider education for improved outcomes throughout the healthcare system.Recently completed a 12-month secondment with Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) as part of the Welsh Clinical Leadership Fellowship Programme, specifically looking to deliver projects relating to HEIW's 'Strategic Pharmacy Workforce Plan'. During this year, I led a team to create a 'virtual work experience' for children aged 13-18 years of age. 'Pharma-SEE!' involved the utilisation of virtual reality and gamification to enabling children to access and experience what it would be like to work in community pharmacy. This work contributed towards a PGCert in Applied Innovation (Advanced Management) with Swansea University.I have lived experience of living with LongCOVID, detailing my experience in various medical publications and journals which have been published worldwide. I am a patient and public involvement representative on the 'STIMULATE-ICP' study and a listed co-author on the NIHR-funded 'PHARM-LC' study, and a keen advocate for those living with the illness.
