IT Manager for the US startup of Access Restoration Services, a family-owned company based in Canada that specializes in providing custom solutions in advance of, in response to, and after emergency situations. 𝗔𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗥𝗦 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆!I manage IT service delivery and support for 4 offices and growing. I built a 24x7 Command Center to provide Asset Monitoring subscription services and act as a Centralized Communications Hub. - Asset Monitoring identifies potential business interruptions and threats to people / property and sends curated notifications to subscriber contacts in a timely manner. - Our Centralized Communications Hub focuses on communications and follow-ups to ensure issue resolution for customers, vendors, and staff. It proved vital in addressing needs during our company's deployment during Hurricane Ian.𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙏 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙙.

I managed the agile IT team which supported Ricoh’s Business Information Services (BIS/LDS) for on/off-site locations in the US, UK, and Canada (~90 locations). My team consisted of developers, business analysts, system administrators, and service/help desk. Our primary function was supporting the revenue generating systems that we developed to ensure system availability; our secondary function was the continuous development of the applications to meet new customer requirements, security initiatives, or changes to business operations while maintaining our SOC 2 compliance.As the IT leader for the business line, I interfaced with business leaders to understand their goals and needs and coordinated plans/activities with the other IT teams. I reviewed business initiatives and software requests to validate needs and understand impacts. I met with the proposal team to ensure ability to meet customer functionality and security requirements for potential projects. I also managed projects to ensure customer satisfaction, project deliverables, schedule, and budget. In my tenure, I have worn many hats that involved managing projects, products, processes, and people; the people are the keys to success. My role as a servant leader was to support my team, ensure task understanding, remove roadblocks, give guidance, support individual growth, trust my team, and provide emotional support. I was able to stay hands-on by pitching in with my team on projects/issues and being the primary developer of our revenue generation application. Most of my team had over 15 years of tenure, and we enjoyed a long working relationship. We handled everything from specifying equipment to wiping systems for lease rollover; we also handled everything in the middle which included loading/configuring, developing/testing/deploying, documenting, maintaining/patching, backing up/restoring, validating, integrating, and supporting remotely. I know it is a long list, but we stayed very busy.
