To provide general day to day maintenance of all plant equipment as necessary. To perform preventative maintenance on production equipment as defined in the company’s plant and equipment schedules. Undertake repairs to plant and equipment as necessary – validate and monitor machine performance after repair. Suggest projects and equipment modifications as required to ensure continuous improvement in output, quality and cost effectiveness. Implement and oversee these projects once management approval has been given. Become qualified in the Recamic Industrial Retread process within 3 years and assist with daily production requirements in the factory.

Supervise the installation of equipment on projects and machining requirements for projects. 11. Assist in supervision of machine shop. 12. Perform testing and commissioning of equipment. 13. Ensure protection and preservation of equipment in projects. 14. Review the production work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. 15. Coordinate and build good rapport with both internal and external customers (SLA). 16. Assist the manager in efficient administration, supervision and management his workforce. 17. Deploy and utilize manpower effectively. 18. Perform tasking of work to his subordinates and workers. 19. Control and manage the subcontractors and their workers. 20. Project Engineer 1. Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of project execution for an assigned portion of a major project or for the total portion of a moderate scope project and ensure that it is completed on time, within budget and with highest quality. 2. Handle technical inquiries and assisting projects in regards to rectification and defects. 3. Responsible for liaising with project teams on all technical inquiries and defects. 4. Prepares Bill of Materials (BOM) and equipment list, budget and manpower plan for the project and execute according to the plan once approved. 5. Arrange for procurement of material as per the required technical specification and optimize cost. 6. Manage the cash flow for the project and ensure that bottom line targets are met. 7. Manage all contract documentation and schedule. Identify and document possible variation orders and ensure there are no minimum variation order claims from sub-cons/vendors. 8. Coordinate with personnel in other departments, client and/or consultant and vendor/subcon personnel to review designs, prepare and execute recovery plans speedily. 9. Coordinate the testing and commissioning of the plant and ensure proper turn over. 10. Create and update the project master on weekly schedule. 11. Submit regular management reports on the progress of the project to meet timelines and target dates. 12. Responsible for the implementation of safety management system for all project sites and ensure all activities carried out complied with OSHA requirements.
