An enthusiastic course materials administrator known within both Algonquin College and Canadian campus retail industry as a whole for providing a sensible perspective to difficult problems through strong analytical reasoning and for having an exceptional commitment to client satisfaction. Competencies Include: Quantitative Reasoning; Innovative Solutions; Consensus Building; Results Focused; Community Commitment. Known for my attention to detail, my colleagues and clients trusted in that what I delivered was thoroughly researched and analyzed. I am also not afraid to look outside my industry for potential solutions to interesting challenges that come my way. Being a little competitive, I like to ensure that the person asking me for help has the best possible response to their issue. Over my time at Algonquin College, their have been a number of things that I have been very proud to have initiated or improved upon. - The Creation of the AC Storytime series: Professional Writing students create a short children's story then students of Illustration and Concept Art bring it to life. I then got the books printed and distributed with royalties going to the student creators. - Setting up First Class Press. Both local authors and faculty had their books printed (or converted for digital distribution). Again, the creators of these works were compensated for the sales of their material. - Helping to implement the Inclusive Access model at Algonquin College (and having it know through the Canadian post secondary industry as the "Algonquin Model". On a personal note, I am a very happy and committed husband. I love traveling to Provence where we have made a second home for ourselves (I especially like showing off my knowledge of the area when we have guests visiting). Friends and family are very important to me, and although I may not be in touch with them as much as I should be, I am there for them if they ask. All in all, I consider myself very lucky.
