Gerald was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, based in London. At McKinsey, Gerald was Global Head of Digital Lending, and Global Head of Credit Analytics. Gerald served a wide range of financial services clients globally on lending, credit risk, capital and analytics topics, helping them to significantly enhance business performance, innovation and growth through transformation of their Risk capabilities. Gerald's work in Digital Lending included helping leading financial institutions to launch digital lending businesses and products; and the transformation of client's credit functions, leveraging advanced analytics to enable innovative new customer experiences and product offerings. Gerald has served clients at the design, implementation and execution stages, working across all aspects of the value chain from value proposition, product design, customer service, risk management, compliance, analytics, technology, customer onboarding & KYC, operations, funding, stress testing and reporting. Gerald was the lead author of the McKinsey paper “The lending revolution: How digital credit is changing banks from the inside”.As a member of McKinsey’s Risk Practice, Gerald brought to clients his extensive experience in credit risk, stress testing, capital management, impairment, nonperforming loans (NPL), risk modelling and advanced analytics.

Gerald was a Partner in EY's Financial Services Advisory business, focusing on FS Risk Management and Quantitative Advisory Services.

Gerald built and led the Quantitative Advisory Services (QAS) group in EY's Financial Services Risk Management practice. Gerald built QAS into the largest UK Big 4 quant group, with a broad range of capabilities in modelling and advanced analytics covering credit, market and operational risk.

Prior to joining EY, Gerald led KPMG’s Financial Services Financial and Data Modelling team delivering modelling solutions to clients across the Financial Services sector (primarily banking and reinsurance).
