- Lead/manage two agile teams of engineers to build, maintain and enhance a suite of 14, highly scalable, applications deployed to multiple data centers/cloud environments which support our inventory Availability and Reservations capabilities for BestBuy.com as well as a new locker pickup capability at Best Buy. - Oversee all aspects of the SDLC including architectural decisions, solutioning, technical designs and documentation of new features, performance analysis and enhancements, code refactoring and compliance. - Responsible for one of the most critical components of BestBuy.com, I focus on building designs with a heavy emphasis on performance and volume in order to stand up to the massive volume of online traffic during holiday seasons.- Recently helped lead an initiative to combine resources between pre-sourcing and sourcing which led to a significant reduction in orders unable to be sourced.- Work closely with product managers and business partners to provide guidance on capabilities, assist in identifying both business and technical opportunities and continue to build business capabilities through our supply chain.- With 18 direct reports, I provide feedback and coaching to junior members of the team and help formulate plans for employees to help them achieve their career aspirations.

Availability Team:- Work with a highly agile team on multiple Groovy Rest applications to provide near real-time availability and inventory counts to the BestBuy.com platform.- Practice Test-Driven Development with minimal QA to provide weekly feature changes/upgrades.- Implemented an extensible caching framework which allows developers to easily add caching features to individual applications quickly and accurately. - Coded multiple feature components and participate in rigorous design sessions in an effort to provide a seamless, highly scalable, solution to keeping accurate inventory counts and providing accurate availability for BestBuy.com

Cart Team:- Worked on a team to transform cart page from a legacy JSP based experience to REST based Spring application consisting of multiple tiers and a single page design.- Implemented a caching strategy as well as an error handling framework to decrease system load and provide a much more stable experience for end users of the site. - Designed and implemented a promotional framework which allows business personnel to present various offers to users based on virtually any aspect of contents within the user's cart.- Implemented the "Recommendations" backend functionality by consuming multiple 3rd party services to combine and aggregate data for display via front end.

- Work with a project team to design, develop, and implement software solutions for a complex route based handheld device environment.- Provide development, maintenance, and 3rd level support for existing server-side infrastructure consisting of multiple web based Java applications integrated with SQL Server, Tibco Services, and multiple AS/400 servers.- Team with Business Analysts to design and develop new web applications to provide improved reporting, streamlined business processes, and new functionality to maximize efficiency of daily field operations.
