I have been working as a configuration management engineer for approximately a year. I am able to deploy releases into all environments from QA to Production which includes installing or updating modules, scheduled tasks, libraries, web services and any other third party apps that are intermittently updated. These releases may also include updating configuration files for websites, scheduled tasks, services, and web services. I can backup databases and run SQL scripts. I am able to navigate to the multiple tiers of our environment which include web, application, file, and database servers in order to accomplish the configuration management duties.I am able to administer Visual Source Safe and TFS Source Control user permission as it is currently implemented.I have some experience updating WITs and Project templates in TFS.

Worked full-time with FAPNetV4 development creating and executing test cases for 5 applications: FAPNetV4, FASOR, OPAL, NPSP, and AF Special Needs (QBase). This tested included large maintenance releases as well as a totally redesigned OPAL application. I also became the SME for test the FAPNetV4 area for our QA department.

Assisted in implementing new QA processes that affected projects positively by creating an opportunity to find bugs early in the SDLC such as requirements creation rather than component testing which saved the project time and money.Created and modified Business Object metric reports, which gave management insight into the quality of a project throughout a project's SDLC. This would include defects and resolutions in pre-production as well as production. Planned and executed QA project plans, test plans, and test scripts. The project plans gave the project team insight into all tasks to be executed by QA and this allowed them the make more educated choices for the project around the risks and timelines for the project.Used Quality Center to store requirements, test cases, and test plans, which also allowed us to report testing progress, pass/fail rate, and etc. It also was our main repository for regression test cases.Utilized Quick Test Professional to either record, playback, create, or run some scripts to test positive and negative test case scenarios against our SIEBEL, softphone, and Oracle eBusiness Suite.Worked with Oracle eBusiness and ran SQL statements almost daily to verify workflow functionality, updated data for testing positive and negative scenarios, and created and updated queries for new and updated processes and workflows. Worked with a local application that tested web services for an interface with Vista Print using XML script posted to a URL and initiated functionality created by Vista Prints development team. I created the scenarios test cases and updated XML to cause the expected functionality.Worked with the Business Objects reporting application to query data and create metrics from our defect tracking application (Quality Center) and the production support application (Remedy).
