CurrentGerald is the senior partner of Howes Percival and a member of the Firm's Corporate and Commercial Department. Gerald trained and subsequently worked at a firm in the City of London before moving to Howes Percival in 1986. He became a partner in 1989 and has built a client base comprised of commercial businesses including professional partnerships, SME's, owner managed businesses, PLC's, public sector bodies and overseas companies. He advises on sales and purchases of businesses, corporate insolvency, banking, joint ventures and other commercial contracts including information technology, outsourcing and intellectual property licensing. Gerald has developed a specialism in acting for sporting clubs and advises and acts as the company secretary for both the Guards Polo Club and The British Racing Drivers' Club. He is also a trustee of Rockingham Forest Trust and of the Northampton Sports Aid Lunch Club. Within Howes Percival he is the partner in charge of dealing with complaints raised about the firm.
