* Design and configure business systems and hardware infrastructure according to industry standards and best practices * Install, configure and monitor virtualisation platforms to ensure high availability and optimal use of computing resources * Install and configure relevant application components to ensure access as well as applications consistency and integrity

* Design, configure and implement backup schedules for all data center systems to backup media in line with processes and procedure using Tivoli Storage Manager, Veeam Backup and Replication, Symantec Backup Exec, Symantec NetBackup, Bare Metal and Rsync for Linux, Windows, AIX and Solaris servers.* Monitor, maintain uptime and recover failed virtual or physical systems according to recovery time and point objectives on all platforms: Windows, Linux and AIX. * Research, evaluate and recommend new disaster recovery technologies and industry disaster recovery strategies to system administration manager.* Provide input into the development of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.* Design, configure and implement data recovery processes and procedures for all data center systems from backup media.* Design, configure and implement replication schedules and procedures for the disaster recovery site of Data Center systems from Live Datacenter to Disaster Recovery Data Center.* Administer, maintain and monitor all backup processes so as ensure that all Data Center servers, user computers, Risk Systems are backed up.* Move all backup media from the datacenters to storage locations as outlined in the backup policy and security policy.* Maintain and document all on-site and off-site backup storage according to IT policies and standards.* Implement Disaster Recovery projects within or without the Data Centre, or where backend systems are concerned.* Adhere to the Disaster Recovery Audit and policy requirements.
