Replaced legacy mainframe maintenance application with new client server technology. This resulted in a reduced MTBF, reduced lost time accidents, better safety, and overall plant rating by the NRC.

This system was the most advanced system of its day, using lessons learned from TMI and allowed the control room to eliminate meters, and gauges in lieu of electronic readouts and displays that provided systemic health and led to operational effectiveness safety. After successfully integrated this $20M computer complex as a prerequisite for commercial license, I remained through two operational fuel cycles to rewrite a critical software suite for the Emergency Response Facility (ERF).
