Compliance & Regulatory Affairs• Develop and implement vehicle emission certification processes across the organization for NAFTA series production vehicles;• Manage and contribute to implementation of DTNA's Greenhouse Gas Compliance (GHG) related IT infrastructure• Continuously create and analyze GHG projection scenarios to support development of DTNA's GHG vehicle compliance strategy;• In-depth analysis of vehicle portfolio to identify GHG credit opportunities;• Represent DTNA in industry meetings (EMA) and in communication with regulators;• Develop strategies for interaction and reports for governmental authorities in the U.S., Canada;• Create and implement processes for annual GHG reporting to regulatory agencies in US and Canada;• Active contribution in rulemaking processes: - EPA: GHG Phase 2 Final Rule and Amendment, Clean Trucks Plan (i.e. Heavy Duty Ultra-Low NOx Rule), GHG Phase 3 - CARB: Omnibus Rule, Advanced Clean Truck & Fleet Rules• Manage sales allocation to maintain compliance with vehicle emission rules;• Manage off-shore support staff to solve ongoing regulatory projects;• Provide guidance and training to other DTNA’s departments on safety and environmental compliance matters;• Evaluate business and legal risks of several designs and engineering vehicle solutions;• Continuous training of DTNA staff re. vehicle emission regulations;
