Responsible for the financial operations of a $250 M multi- corporate Not-for-Profit with multiple departments providing varied services. Developed and maintained several banking and credit relationships, which greatly enhanced the ability of the organization to grow. Motivated, Educated and supervised a staff of more than 60 persons in the Finance and Accounting Departments.Implemented a fully automated accounting system, starting with the requisition process all the way to the Financial Reporting that incorporated scanning of all required documents along the work flow pathway which helped increase productivity, financial management and reporting as well as improved internal control. Prepared monthly reports to management and the Board of Directors in a timely and efficient manner. Worked directly with various outside auditors to assist in the timely and efficient completion of audits while minimizing the findings by the auditors. Developed and Improved systems in the financial operations areas as well as all areas that yielded significant improvements in the day to day operations and efficiencies, as well as major cost savings and revenue enhancements. Analyzed and assisted in the development of the annual budget, using financial modeling to analyze and make business decisions that impacted the bottom line. Selected and developed the reporting infrastructure for Key Performance Indicators throughout the company that provided real time data to managers to enable better decision making regarding their operations.

Responsibility for entire financial operations of the facility, and it's related corporate entities with a total operating budget of over eighty million dollars. Including a Skilled Nursing Facility, a Home Health Care Program, Assisted Living Center, Adult Day Care Program and a Foundation. The responsibilities include the following:- Direct supervision of all functions of the Finance Department, including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Billing and Collection;- Preparation of annual budget for presentation to the Board of Directors. Ongoing reporting, follow up and monitoring of financial results as compared to budget;- Review of all accounts receivable balances with specific target goals for each category of receivables. Implemented a major initiative to reduce the receivables with productivity standards developed for each staff member that may be monitored regularly.Prepared and reviewed all cost reports for Medicare and Medicaid. Prepared appeals to third parties for revised reimbursement rates.- Maintain and supervise the Information Services Department, including communications;Develop and monitored internal control procedures for all financial related functions;Supervised twenty nine staff persons in the Finance and Information Services Department;Prepared the financial analysis and business plan for new proposed programs of the corporation.
