AIGT provided technology services to AIG sister companies and non-AIG related Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Brought in by President of AIGT, who had been my boss at Wheatley. One of three senior managers that ran the Insurance Software Division, which, with a staff of 84 and $17 million in revenue in 2004, provided software and other IT services to internal and external clients. (Software included WINS Digital, MassXpress and ALIR; IT services included outsourcing, consulting, programming and hosting.) Initially hired to launch MassXpress, a brand-new state-of-the-art processing system for Mass. Personal Auto; subsequently tabbed to affect turn-around for WINS. Primary duties included sales. Secondary duties included product and project management. Accomplishments included successful launch of MassXpress, negotiation of what would have been first MassXpress account ($1.2m per year for six years), and first external WINS Digital deal since AIGT’s acquisition of WINS in 2000 ($400k reqs. study as a precursor to a larger contract w/ $6-9m in estimated revenue). -
