The Industrial group is responsible for managing and maintaining strong business relationships with automotive and steel companies. I manage Account Managers that provide customers with technical expertise, project management and other customer service via a single point of contact for their DTE Energy business needs. The team represents 341 business partners with annual revenue of approximately $580 million and energy usage of 10.5 Billion kWh's per year. My responsibilities also include leading sales efforts for the Large Customer Voluntary Green Pricing initiative and managing forecasting and tracking efforts related to new customer business.

The Energy Optimization group was formed to develop and implement the company's energy savings program. The program launched in June 2009 and continues to offer various residential, commercial, industrial and low-income programs for customers. These programs both educate and incentivize customers to purchase energy efficient technologies and services. The group is responsible for both Detroit Edison and MichCon energy efficiency plans. DTE’s Energy Optimization’s Commercial and Industrial program provides incentives to business customers for implementing energy projects.

The Energy Partnership & Services group is a team of energy engineers that provide on-site energy consulting services to DTE Energy customers. The team was originally created in 1994 to support large industrial manufacturing companies. They have since expanded their service offerings to include commercial and municipal customers. The team is currently working on energy-consuming systems at manufacturing, commercial and industrial facilities for some of Detroit Edison's largest customers. Our goal is to identify and implement energy savings projects and processes for our customers. We create and use best practices to develop energy-efficient strategies consistent with our client's objectives. Customers include General Motors, Ford Motor Company, University of Michigan.

Michigan Consumer and Industry Services, Energy Resources Division, Lansing, MIProvide technical assistance to public facilities and purchasing staff on energy conservation projects. Review technical proposals and reports for State and Federal programs. Perform energy audits and create technical reports for commercial and industrial facilities. Research and make recommendations about new energy saving products and services. Create bi-monthly technical newsletters. Supervise student interns for State of Michigan’s Green Lights Program.

Generated floor plans and one-line diagram layouts for power transmission and distribution systems using AutoCAD. Produced lighting and power layouts. Developed cost estimates, construction specifications and performed field surveys.
