Assistant Superintendent - Brookfield Residential Properties- Assist with all aspects of construction for multi and single family homes, from excavation to certificate of occupancy. This includes reviewing project plans, specifications, site plans and engineering drawings to reduce possible cost measures and limit potential construction problems.- Supervise construction activity for each home on a daily basis, ensuring home is built per buyer's contract. Update and maintain construction schedules on a daily basis, ensuring all stages of construction are completed within their deadlines.- Assist in coordinating labor force on site. Includes scheduling and coordinating with trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and utilities for each home. Ensure all on site trades and subcontractors comply with all Building Codes at all times.- Coordinate all required inspections for each home (i.e. Building Department, Engineers, Region, ESA, etc.). Ensure all inspections are complete, and receive an Occupancy Certificate from the local Municipality, prior to the closing of each home.- Assess all on-site risk- Confidently make major decisions- Ensure compliance with Brookfield Homes' Health and Safety Policy at all times on the job site. Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times ensuring that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety legislation are enforced.- Assist with invoice approval, on a weekly basis, of work completed, so that payment can be issued.Jr. Assistant Site Manager - Brookfield Residential- Ensure jobsite cleanliness and maintain a positive neighborhood image - Manage daily construction activities and maintain schedule adherence - Enforce jobsite safety by ensuring all Trade Contractors comply with OSHA regulations- Motivate subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the level of quality and performancerequired to meet company objectives- Participate in Brookfield's quality assurance program- Inspect daily all homes under construction for quality and ensure they are being built per the plans and specifications-Perform final inspection of custom built homes to ensure that initial and final specifications are met.  -Interact with city inspectors during building to code routine inspections.  -Schedule and coordinate repairs, modifications and or additions resulting from city inspections and or final inspection. -Ensure that repairs are scheduled with the objective of meeting established deadlines.  -Utilize computers, calculators and telephone to perform duties.
