Calibration of various Test and Measurement Equipment and Engine Test Cells; Developing and implementing procedures and methods to insure calibration compliance with Aviation Specs; Quality Systems compliance to FAA and other National and International quality organizations. Maintain calibration tracking software for 5000+ pieces of equipment used at 3 separate Dallas Airmotive locations in the DFW Metroplex including our Field Service group.

Calibrated and repaired a variety of electronic test equipment and process controllers in house and on site. Instrumental in getting ISO 17025 accreditation for the Dallas, Houston, Charlotte and Tulsa Inotek labs during the Davis / Inotek merger by co-authoring a quality manual used by those locations. Performed quality assurance related functions for compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 as Davis Instruments' Primary Quality Assurance Representative for the Dallas Lab. Controlled laboratory technical production, directed and instructed the technical staff, assigned work assignments, participated in the quoting process for calibrations and repairs and performed other duties as assigned by the local Lab manager. Apprenticed as instrumentation calibration and repair technician and worked my way up to Lab Manager. Modified and custom build digital and analog panel meters for various process applications (mostly oil exploration related). Designed a high voltage divider and test instrument used by the oil industry to check high voltage phase to phase readings (no patents). Member NCSL.

Assigned to 35th Tactical Fighter Wing and worked at the 35th Avionics Maintenance Squadron as an Avionics Instrument Systems Specialist. Most of my work was done on the flight line repairing / replacing avionics instrumentation and performing system tests and calibration on various model F-4 C, D, E and F and F-105 F and G Wild Weasel fighter aircraft.Acted as squadron's designated courier (Mobility Runner) during Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercises from 1973 to 1976.
