I've been working in the sewing industry for over 30 years. I worked for Olga Fashion Development. Then I went to work for Workrite Uniforms, then to Hanesbrands.I enjoy working on Industrial sewing machines. I worked in the intimates side of the sewing industry. But worked on heavier material with the Uniform company. I've worked on a variety of sewing machines, sergers over locks, bar tacts, cover stitches, walking foot, single needle lockstitch, double needle lock stitch, Pfaff automatic pocket setter, Hashima fusing machine .At Hanesbrands I worked in the product development department, working with designers in creating new set-up for the sewing machine to help create new styles garments. I maintained the sewing machine by, creating a preventative program to have all the equipment well maintained with very little down time. I am now working for Downlite and I'm involved in the Brighi blow line for pillows and the Garnet machine for pillows. I maintain the sew floor skirt machines and closed pillow machines.
