My career began as an Associate Engineer in Distribution Planning where I developed models to expand CNP’s electrical system for new loads, contingencies and overload conditions. The initial project granted to me had a budget of $34k. In my final role as the Lead Engineer for Substation Protection and Automation, I was responsible for $50MM of the $200MM awarded to CNP to implement the Intelligent Grid Initiative.I also served on several interdepartmental teams, in addition to acting as the company representative for EPRI’s Green Circuit Initiative: a collaborative effort from utilities world-wide to investigate ways to mitigate losses.
