🔍 About Me: As a seasoned litigator, I’ve honed my skills navigating the complex world of insurance law. My journey has taken me before courts across Canada, from Newfoundland to British Columbia. With over two decades of experience, I’ve handled a diverse range of matters, including: Coverage Disputes; Property Claims; Farm related Claims (as we all know there are unique nuances in agricultural insurance); Course of Construction; and Professional Liability (Architects, engineers, and brokers)🏢 In-House Counsel: Since 2006, I’ve served as in-house counsel for three insurers. My role involved advising on policy wordings, coverage, and legal standards. This deep understanding of insurance contracts has allowed me to provide strategic advice to clients.🌟 Joined Co-operators: In 2024, I embarked on a new chapter by joining Co-operators. As part of the national in-house litigation team supporting Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance claims, I lead and oversee the Alberta team of litigators and law clerks. Our mission?
