Responsible for planning the commissioning of electrical systems and sub systems on a FGD by overseeing the completion of all required testing from component level through to performance acceptance. Managed the completion of systems testing and turnover documentation including data sheets, vendor documents and test records. Prepared pre-commissioning test procedures for the initial energization of 230 KV power feed. Supervised and directed third party testing and subcontractor personnel to support commissioning activities including installation and testing of relay settings, functional testing of switch gear, breakers, motor control centers and motor runs. Prepared system turnover packages by assembling and reviewing test documentation for accuracy and completeness. Participated in system turnover walk downs and insured punch list items were resolved. Utilized interpersonal skills to interact closely with client management and operations for final package approval and systems acceptance.

To ensure the completion of commissioning activities on a FGD project by directing day to day activities such as; Developing and implementing procedure for back-feed, methods for tracking progress of testing procedures, methods for identifying and resolving design and equipment deficiencies found during commissioning. Verification of performance and documentation of third party testing, vendor OEM testing, electrical component and electrical equipment testing and initial energization of switchgear, motor control centers, motors, panels and electrical devices. Track and Update all test data sheets, jumpers and lifted leads log, the completion of systems and sub-systems to ensure milestones are met, replacement of meters, relays and breakers. Support the client during BOP start up.

Electrical interface between client, engineering and construction during the installation of a LM 6000 Peaker PowerPlant. Activities included ensuring critical path objectives met, review of electrical test reports and procedures, assisting with construction / engineering solutions, coordination of systems turnover, proper installation verification of all electrical equipment and systems including 480V, 4160KV and 13.8KV voltage transformers, switchgear, motor control centers per engineering drawings and specifications.

Assigned to startup during installation of FGD unit. Duties included system / component alignment and verification prior to performing LOTO tag installation and removal. Also supported initial Operation of plant components and equipment as required during the startup process. Performed field audits of plant clearance permit tag status. Primary Electrical Contractor for new installation of Waste Water Treatment Plant at Hamilton, GA. Responsibilities included purchasing, planning, scheduling and supervising installation of all electrical equipment including 480v Motor Control Centers an associated motors and controls. Startup and commissioning of plant power and instumentation process controls.

Primary Electrical Contractor for Installation, startup and commissioning of Pump Station power, control, and instrumentation. Equipment included transformers, 480v switch gear, 480v motor control centers, and AC motor control devices. Also instrumentation devices such as; flow meters, pressure switches, floats and temperature switches.
