Having over 40 years experience in welding and fabrication, I'm fully competent and completely equipped to deal with the necessary operations of a functioning welding shop. I've been in a supervisor position for the better part of the last 10 years. My duties have included everything from inventory to hiring employees to overseeing safety meetings. I take pride in bringing in my projects on time and under budget. The workers I directly supervise have a terrific safety rating and attendance record. I look forward to challenges and meet them with equal determined force. I believe any job can be accomplished with the right workers and tools. My track record on that is exemplary. Having earned an BBA (I minored in Communication), a Journeyman Mechanical Drafting Apprenticeship and NYS Certification in Welding, My ability to understand, listen, interpret and direct matters to ensure quality work with minimal lag time reduces cost and labor fatigue.I go out of my way to create a work environment where employees want to be at work and enjoy the atmosphere. I believe that loyalty starts from the top down and that employees need to prove their worth and value to the company. On a Non Work related topic, I was a player, coach, referee and, eventually Commissioner of a football league that consisted of over 100 players and coaches. I love the game of Football and believe it is the ultimate team sport. I incorporate much of the football philosophy into my daily duties as a team member and leader on the work floor.
