I have over 25 years experience in the Engineering/Construction field and I am currently undertaking a Project Management role within the nuclear business division of our companies’ portfolio. My past employment has focused on specialist Engineering Contracting Services including design, manufacture, installation, restoration, fabrication, precision engineering and decommissioning for the environmental, nuclear and heritage market sectors; using in-house project management and labour resources or by supplying the same resources into alliance or partnering with clients and fellow contractors.I have undertaken a key role in ensuring that our companies’ Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies are withheld and improved, wherever possible, to achieve customer satisfaction and control of customer deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Utilising individually designed robotic equipment, focusing on providing high levels of protection to the workforce. A challenging project that is being carried out under the most demanding of technical and environmental conditions.Duties included, but not limited to:Site surveys and production of scope definition documentation to meet with clients’ requirements.Raise the relevant design documentation, to engage design resources under existing framework agreements.Agree and monitor design teams progress, ensuring that the agreed schedule is maintained.Monitor and arrange payment for sub-contract design services, on completion of works, at specific milestones.Arrange design reviews and ensure all subsequent actions are responded to accordingly.Producing and presenting Plant Modification Proposals (PMP’s) that comply with the plant safety case.Prepare and submit Request for Quotations (RFQ’s) for contractor tender submissions.Review and approve contractor submissions.
