Rogers Aviation, a division of Rogers Group, is a provider of an integrated range of aviation and travel services in 7 countries & 19 offices in the Indian Ocean and sub-Saharan Africa.Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, my core duties are to devise and implement the eCommerce and Digital Marketing strategy of the Company across its various divisions and to manage the digital marketing team and all its daily operations.Managing a digital asset pool of 8 brand websites and 16 social media accounts across sectors activities ranging from: inbound travel, outbound travel to leisure services my role is to: - Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the various brand websites.- Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the websites.- Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns for each brands.- Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC to drive sales & revenue.- Overseeing the social media strategy for the company various assets.- To implement planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing activities of the company- Conduct customer research, analyse market conditions and competitor data.- Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.​

Reporting to the board, my primary duties and responsibilities are to oversee the strategic business development of the agency, strengthening the agency’s relationship with key stakeholders and ensure that the strategic objectives are met.My operational tasks also involves coaching and providing strategic directions across the agency’s various technical and creative teams.Duties & Responsibilities• To develop and execute the agency’s business strategies in order to attain its strategic goals • To provide strategic advice to the board so that they have accurate view of the market and the agency’s future• To prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective tactics and business development activities• To communicate and maintain trust relationships with the agency’s shareholders, business partners and authorities• To oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures• To delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance• To act as the public speaker and representative of the agency in ways that strengthen its profile

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing and the regional Director of E-Commerce, the core responsibilities are to implement and support the e-distribution strategy of the hotel, maintain and develop revenue opportunities through electronic channels, by managing and overseeing the functioning of third party online channels and the brand website. The duties and responsibilities also include:• Ensure the brand website and third party channels are up to date in terms of content and information• Ensuring the proper online distribution of the hotel across the various channels• Using the RMS system (IDEAS) and the channel manager (RateGain 3.0) to distribute the hotel across the various online channels and ensure rate parity is maintain among the various online channels• Using intelligence tools such as Rateview 360, STR and Hotelligence to gather, analyse market intelligence and market behaviours in order to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Revenue in their decision making process to determine price alignment and distribution strategies of the property• Develop and implement the E-marketing strategy including online advertising campaigns of the hotel to generate revenue and support the development of the brand online• Manage and liaise with local third party creative agencies to develop e-marketing collaterals for the hotel• Build and maintain an enhanced relationship with the hotel’s OTAs account managers• Consolidated monthly reporting of the E-distribution performance to the regional Director of E-Commerce

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce and Communications my duties includes:Ensure up-to-date online communication and ensure that the brand coherence is respected throughout the different web platforms including social medias (facebook, twitter, pinterest etc...) and third party websites.Create net buzzing focused on social medias through creative content creation and and manage the E-reputation and online community of the group's various hotels in Mauritius.Develop and manage the online advertising (both search and display) campaign of the group's two hotel brands

As an intern directly under the mentor-ship of the Group E-Marketing Manager I oversaw the brand website maintenance and updates, Search Engine Advertising, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Online Advertising Campaign, E-Mail Marketing campaigns, Google Adwords Campaigns and Analytics for the Group properties in Mauritius, Reunion Island and Maldives.
