The ULink Coastal Resilience Project is a global partnership with the United Nations and coastal cities around the world to address sea level rise. Coastal cities are especially susceptible to this. The project I am working on takes the at risk regions of Miami and determines what measures need to be taken. I have served in two facets of the project: looking at how ocean current circulation in the surrounding Biscayne Bay might potentially affect flooding patterns and mapping the Little River region of Miami using ArcGIS to determine susceptibility to flooding.
