Gerry began his career 20 years ago as a Management Consultant at BBDO Consulting in Germany. He has since worked in many countries, e.g. Australia, Europe, Singapore, USA, etc. Gerry has worked across a broad spectrum of categories and a range of iconic Australian and global brands such as Meat & Livestock Australia, Netflix, Qantas, Lion, Red Bull, Goodman Fielder, Vodafone, The Coca-Cola Company & KCA to name just a few. His work has been recognised and awarded in most of the major award shows (Effies, Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Clio, AWARDS, etc.). The Won Report named him the 2nd most awarded Planning Director in the world. Whilst shiny metal is nice, the real accolade that matters to him is effectiveness. He has judged many of those and scored a few along the way, including the first-ever Cannes Effectiveness Lion for the Ogilvy Network and the Coca-Cola Company. He is a local/global strategic thinker with traditional, digital, and social expertise. He is financially and commercially savvy - having been an advisor to many businesses and brand owners as well as having run his own business.
