My key projects• Guardian Financial Services – designed and built this life insurers digital offering including adviser registration, quote, apply and underwriting journey, adviser dashboard functionality as well as a marketing website and on and offline brand assets, documentation and corporate brochure. An extensive project requiring close collaboration with third party suppliers and constant communication with the various stakeholders throughout their business.• Santander – produced an investment & savings micro site focused on educating ISA savers on the cash and/or stocks & shares ISA options they have based on their financial goal and timeframe. Space produced wireframes and designs and I worked with Santander’s external agency on the build and implementation. • BNP Paribas Asset Management – created a global brand and focused communications strategies, all of which involved interviewing senior stakeholders across the globe and working closely with the clients marketing teams.• Stonehage Fleming - global rebrand and creation of digital and offline marketing assets including website, corporate brochures, stationery and office signage.

Key responsibilities include:• Technology Oversight & Project Management - managing and analysing the IT function to ensure the company’s infrastructure is robust, safe from hackers and is being used effectively to aid the performance of The Slice and its employees. Managed the creation of lead generation websites (front & back end) where the goal is to maximise the revenue gained from a lead using the pingtree software. • Performance Analysis - Review and analyse email and paid search traffic sources including creative and landing pages to maximise conversion rate and ROI.• Client Management – ensuring clients expectations are met and exceeded where possible in relation to services, volume, quality and value. • Company Management – overview the accounts processes, policies and performance. Dealing with any legal disputes as well as client contract agreements. Provide strategic review of current campaigns and future prospects. • Human Resources – handling recruitment, individual performance & salary reviews for direct reports.

Pocket London produce high quality visitor guides to London providing essential street and tube maps along with attractions and event information. Over 1 million copies were being produced each year for London hotels & exhibitions. I joined company at the very start, before the first copy was published.• Managing the production of all nine projects, including design, advertising, sales staff and contributors, ensuring guides were proofed and delivered to the printers on time. • Buying, planning and managing the print jobs as well as co-ordinating the deliveries to hotels and exhibition venues.• Managing staff, dealing with contracts, hiring, appraisals and HR issues. • Writing & editing the guides along with selling advertising and selling the product into hotels and exhibitions.• Running the day to day accounts, producing monthly financial statements, managing quarterly budgets, preparing end of year figures for presenting (results) to investors, MD and auditors.

My primary functions were to increase distribution of the Pocket London Guide, improve on previous year’s sales and expand our product base, which I did by creating the London City Airport Guide and Timetable along with the London International Wine & Spirits Fair Pocket Guide. Also to ensure full potential was reached within the sales team. My other role as Financial Controller was to run the financial administration which was often a cash-flow juggling act, trying to keep suppliers, Inland Revenue and staff salaries paid within reasonable time.

Selling advertising in the first ever issue of the Pocket London Guide. Typically cold calling central London restaurants and attractions to convey the merits of a quarterly guide aimed at the London’s tourist market. Although sales were difficult on the first few issues, persistence and determination gave their rewards.
