Storytelling. I love it in all forms.Since young, I've been drawn to the world of Arts. My journey in the Arts started early on in music and dance. Aside from performing on stage, I also take pride in translating words into visuals. I find it especially fascinating when complex messages can be conveyed so strongly yet subtly in films through lighting, sound design, art direction, and so on. Be it through films, television, or stage, I want to tell stories that are meaningful, but also fun of course!My love for the Arts led me to start my own company, AKAR CO., a collective based in Singapore that caters to individuals and companies seeking to discover and articulate their brand story. By employing impactful branding and marketing strategies, guidance from artist management, and fostering valuable business partnerships, my team and I hope to shift the narrative and encourage increased support for local talent.Having specialised in Filmmaking in polytechnic, I also realised that our perceptions of messages plays a significant role in storytelling. In order to better understand how we perceive, I decided to pursue a degree in Psychology to learn about the human mind and its complexities.
