Trial Attorney - Insurance Defense
Current- Represent clients in civil litigation matters.- Aggressively pursue files referred to Staff Counsel by the Claims Department.- Conduct thorough legal research to develop effective case strategies and provide accurate legal advice to clients. - Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court proceedings and negotiations. - Conduct deposition and interview witnesses to gather evidence for trial preparation.- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings. - Create and maintain a documented strategy for case handling in each assigned case. - Develops, organize and maintains document files consisting of pleadings, briefs and memorandums. - Ensures that all files are properly documented and organized- Prepare and present arguments during hearings and trial.
