Geraldine Alias is a Managing Director at Three Cairns Group, a climate-focused investment and philanthropic firm that provides capital and expertise to accelerate climate solutions. Geraldine has over 20 years of investment experience allocating capital to investment funds and leading direct venture and growth equity investments. Most recently she was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Choate Investment Advisors, a multi-family office. As a member of the firm’s investment committee, Geraldine worked closely with families to provide tailored solutions for their wealth management needs and investment goals. She also launched and led a private investment fund, as well as helped augment and streamline client reporting and operations. Prior to that, she was a private equity investor at North Bridge Growth Equity, Volition Capital and Battery Ventures investing in technology businesses as well as serving on their boards. Geraldine started her career at McKinsey & Company.She currently serves as a trustee of The Meadowbrook School, co-chairs the Investment Committee at The Meadowbrook School, and as well as serves on the Finance and Audit Committee at Roca – an organization that focuses on improving the lives of young people affected by incarceration, poverty, and racism. Geraldine graduated from Princeton University with a B.S.E in Electrical Engineering and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
