As educational leaders, my principle responsibilities included: *Oversaw the implemention of the Science and Technology programs *Introduced the Kindergarten Screening Assessment Program *Trained and implemented the Success For All reading program *Participated as a member of the Auburn High School Strategic Planning Committee

As the educational leader my principle responsiblities included: *wrote and awarded $80,000 through the Urban Education Partnership Grant program from the Illinois State Board of Education over three years *planned and implemented after school programs, business and community partnerships, and increased parental involvement using grant funds from the Illinois Urban Education School Business Partnership Grant *developed and implemented the G.R.E.A.T.T.(Greenbrook Realizing Excellence and Achievement Today and Tomorrow) program *developed and implemented the P.A.T.H.S.(Parents and Teachers Helping Students) were parents and students committed themselves to reading to each other at least 20 minutes daily and participate in at least three reading/school related programs during the school year. Students showed significant increase in their reading achievement through the implementation of the P.A.T.H.S. program *developed and implemented the Greenbrook Gators Goals Setting Program, teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade students to set and achieve goals using a proven ACTION plan. *revised and implemented, as the District's Gifted Education coordinator, the District's Gifted Education program which included writing, implementing, and evaluating the State grant *Administered and managed the District's Bilingual and Special Education programs which were housed at Greenbrook. This programs included the Bilingual through 5th grade program, self contained Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders Programs, the At-Risk and Special Education Pre-school programs as well as the building's inclusion programs.

As the 3rd through 6th grade teacher over 20 years at Channing(1 year), Sheridan(14 years) and McKinley(6 years) my principle responsibilities included: *provided challenging and quality teaching and learning to students in my charge *presented at the Illinois Teachers of Mathematics Conference *appointed to the Illinois State Board of Education Goals assessment for 6th grade math *worked on various District task forces and committees to evaluate and adopt various text books and instructional programs in the core subject areas *provided District instruction for the State adoption of calculators for teaching and learning *helped develop and implement the buiding gifted programs which included music, Junior Great Books, and drama programs *helped to develop and implement the building technology program at Sheridan School and served as the building coordinator for the District *served as chair of the Building committee which worked with the building principal to set and implement the building budget *served on the District's At-Risk committee which researched methods and effective teaching strategies to increase student achievement especially for at-risk students
