About Geraldine Manson

Traditional Knowledge training and mentoring guidance came from several elders. At the age of 30, Late Mother-in-Law, Emily Manson, stood up before her Elders group and said, "Gerry we do not want you to go back to school, be governed by time, rules and regulations". "We need you to continue to learn the history of the land, continue to learn the language, and be our voice and legs when we no longer do so". You see, that evening, I was sharing with them that I was accepted back into school to take a nursing program so I could take care of them. Today, not one Elder is left from that era, however, I echo their words when they can no longer do so, keeping history alive. Today 2013, Kwalusulwut, Elder, Ellen White mentors and gives traditional and cultural teachings that assists me on a daily
