It's been a long journey! At age 13 and through high school I worked in a real estate office keeping MLS listings up-to-date (days of paper and pen). Also while a teen I counseled kids at a summer day camp. After high school, I was a part-time cashier at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor; shortly after plunging into the corporate world, starting with Scholastic, maintaining their vast database of educational facilities while attending college at night.Next, Volvo, initially as a Data Analyst, then various positions in the market research realm. In the 80's I became particularly nerdy, programming extensively in SAS. My analytical skills were honed through years of analyzing car industry data: Customer satisfaction, buyer behavior, product quality, after sales, and advertising.Owned a collectables business for several years.Later at Volvo I moved into management while completing my 4-year degree. Product clinics, researching advertising concepts and campaigns, and created a brand premiumness score card (especially proud of that one!).Caught the school "bug" again and earned an MBA in 2007.When Volvo moved back to NJ in 2008 I chose not to move back east. Instead, started helping small businesses get ahead.Oct 2012: ModlandUSA: Completed an analysis on alt fuel car buyers with a focus on all-electric.
