I have several years experience in leadership training, employee development, organizational communications, marketing and media relations, having held management positions at Ball State University and Magnavox Electronic Systems Company (now Raytheon), as well as currently running my own consulting and training firm. Earned both a B.S. degree in psychology and an M.S. degree in psychology at the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne. My concentration on the master’s level was in industrial and organizational psychology. I have also completed numerous leadership and management educational programs at the University of Michigan Executive School and the Center for Creative Leadership, Greensboro, North Carolina. I am also a Certified Training Consultant with certification earned at Ball State University. For the past 13 years, I have taught part-time at the University of Saint Francis, teaching leadership, human resources, management, business communications, public speaking, and marketing. In addition, I have conducted extensive research, made presentations and delivered training programs on the following topics: Leadership Concepts and Issues, Marketing Strategic Planning, Marketing for Small Businesses, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Retention, Motivational Aspects of Work, Creating Career Development Programs for High-Potential Employees, Establishing Effective Employee Communications Programs, and Conducting Effective Communications and Training Audits.Specialties: Leadership training, consumer behavior, sales, customer retention, integration of internal and external communications, management development, employee motivation, organizational communications, and customer service training.
