As a Construction Engineering Supervisor I have overseen the construction, repair and utilities of buildings, warehouses, fixed bridges, port facilities and petroleum pipelines, tanks and related equipment.Some of my Duties performed in these Miliary Occupation Skill include by not limited to construction.Reads and interprets construction drawings. Estimates material, time, equipment, and labor requirements. Supervises the construction and repair of wood frame, concrete, masonry or prefabricated structures. Supervises the installation and repair of utility systems. Inspects structures and facilities to ensure compliance with specifications. Directs operator maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment. Directs combat engineer missions.Devises network flow diagrams such as the critical path method and coordinates work activities of supporting units. Provides supervision over all structure and utility construction projects. Inspects subordinate elements to ensure compliance with directives, construction drawings, and specifications. Plans and organizes for combat engineer missions.

Reporting to the commander, Operations, the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the day today planning of engineer construction project. The majority of the projects will be focused on continuous development. The tasks include: identifying problems or opportunities that supportthe Units construction project and the operations. Manage the process of developing feasible solutions thatsolves the problem or allows for utilizing opportunities. Utilizing various engineering disciplines, managethe engineering process for selected solution Lead design reviews at various engineering stages. Managethe planning process for execution of the engineered solution.Primary Responsibilities:• Develop and execute the operations projects with multiple project engineers and managers withinthe region including engineering, procurement, EPCM, owner’s team, and external constructionmanagement consultants.• Responsible for project functions included but not limited to Project Management, SiteManagement, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement,Construction Management, etc. are all coordinated and properly staffed to meet the project(s)goals.• Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s).• Coordinate and communicate projects group as needed on major projects in the Region.• Coordinate with regional and site management on status, significant trends and changes ofapproved projects.• Establish the working relationship with operations management needed to facilitate thecoordination and execution of project work, such that the operational impact is minimized.• Ensure safety and QA/QC programs are established by all parties and maintained and conductreviews of detailed design drawing and specifications.• Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.• Participate in and lead risk assessments and actively manage the risks of the projects and thebusiness.

A Contracting officer's representative is an individual designated in accordance with DFARS subsection 201.602-2 and authorized in writing by the contracting officer to perform specific technical or administrative functions.If the Contracting Officer designates a contracting officer's representative (COR), the Contractor will receive a copy of the written designation. It will specify the extent of the COR's authority to act on behalf of the contracting officer. I was assigned as an observer, coach/trainer (OC/T) it was a rewarding and a recognized professionally broadening experience. There is no better place to truly understand how the Army fights at the Brigade and above levels. The OC/T experience provides officers and NCOs with deeper substantive knowledge of their military profession, increases their proficiency in operational art and the practical application of doctrine, and exposes them to the challenges the Army could face in future conflicts.Furthermore, as an OC/T I gain a unique perspective of the Army's trending challenges and their solutions.As an OC/T I have had the opportunity to help shape the way the Army will fight now and in the future. I would like to think I had a lasting impart on the units training and how they can improve on their war fighting skills and improve their overall readiness of the Unit.

Manages the training, health and welfare of personnel and their families during deployments; teachers, coaches and mentors junior managers to be successful in management, training and physical fitness; advises the First Sergeant on planning and execution of all training and operational readiness; advises the Command Sergeant Major on planning and execution of operations during deployment; manages 6 million dollars worth of equipment during deployment operations and in garrison; helps personnel to perform to standard while complying with safety constraints.
