I work at the three corners which I consider fundamental for the success of the refining business: HEALTH SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT , RELIABILITY and PROFITABILITY.At Petrobras I worked a lot in troubleshooting (ISHIKAWA, 5W2H tools, process simulators), process safety in the areas of Distillation, Catalytic Cracking, ULSD, ULSG, LUBES and Delayed Coking, including participation in the start up of two large FCC units / RFCC.I also worked as manager of the area (Process Optimization Management) at 2 Petrobras refineries (RLAM and REDUC) and at the company's Corporate, covering all the other 7 refineries, ahead of programs to increase profitability (refining margin) or PIP (Profit Improvement Program) some of them even made with the support of external consultants, resulting in an increase in the refining margin of an industrial unit by 0.30-0.40 US $ / bbl of oil cargo on average. A reduction in consumption of energy with an increase in the refining margin and reduction of CO2 emissions also was achieved.
