I am an experienced entrepreneur with a proven track record of building successful companies. I started my first company while in grad school in the smart home technology industry, winning the Georgia State J. Mack Robinson School of Business Entrepreneurship Award.Following grad school, I joined UPS where I worked as a project manager on various projects. Fortunately, I could not shake the start-up bug so I join the startup ExchangePlace.com where I led the development team. At ExchangePlace I learned the hard lessons of what it takes to build a successful company and I used this experience to launch the ad tech company, Bluelink Marketing in 2010. With an initial investment of $3k, I grow the business to over $20 million in revenue in 3 years.Building upon my success at Bluelink I focused on solving problems facing the ad tech industry. In 2013, I co-founded Tagcade to help online publishers manage, measure and optimize advertising.After 10 years in AdTech I decide to try something completely different. From a side project my tech team worked on in 2013, I learned there was a need for quality software in the animal shelters and rescues space so in 2018 I started AnimalsFirst.com. AnimalsFirst is a mobile and desktop application to help shelters and rescues manage the animals in their care. Our software streamlines the animal management process and brings modern, easy to use technology to shelters and rescues.
