In 2011, Gerald was recognized for his stellar casting work by being named to the executive position of Director of Talent for The Asylum studios. He immediately went to work to transform the diversity of the studio's films. Under Gerald's stewardship, star name casting for The Asylum’s films grew by 380% and diversity in casting across all categories increased by over 200% during his five-year tenure.He previously co-founded a production company that delivered films to partners including: Paramount, Netflix, Roku, Saban, Cinedigm, and Lifetime Network.
