Recruited, hired, trained and provided direct supervision for full-time recreation supervisors. Oversaw department budget of $3,000,000 encompassing programs and services including a fitness center and two outdoor aquatic facilities. Built relationships with local school and park districts to work cooperatively in offering innovative programming for the community. Developed staff to earn certifications and work as a team in a positive work culture.

Oversee professional staff who supervise all aspects of the Aquatic facility, early childhood programming and dance. This includes hiring, training and scheduling of all staff. Maintain the highest level of risk management through our Ellis lifeguarding program. I also oversee staff supervising Youth programming including camps and before/after school programs. Responsible for the development, budgeting, organization and promotion of recreation programs in the areas of preschool, youth, and senior programming, facility and special events.
