The Data Integrity Supervisor manages the team of Data analysts whose responsibility is to uphold the accuracy of the provider network, directory, and pricing controls and to maintain consistency in the member database. My primary role is to manage, audit, and improve the automated and manual processes related to the company’s multiple databases. Day-to-day tasks include:- Monitoring the productivity and quality of the Data Integrity analysts- Evaluating system errors, diagnosing the causes and determining solutions- Confirming operational functionality of current system processes and adapting as needed for future volume- Identifying opportunities to update existing workflows and assisting with the design and implementation of new procedures and reporting tools- Providing training and support within the Data Team and to other departments to ensure business requirements are understood throughout company- Interpreting and analyzing data sets in order to ensure system and database accuracy- Managing and creating automated reports used to identify data errors and implementing strategy to resolve discrepancies- Presenting evaluation and analysis to upper management regarding current system successes and failures; outlining plans to improve and update as needed

As team lead, the skills developed as a data analyst are expanded to include a focus on leadership and quality assurance as well as a deeper understanding of higher level analysis. The team lead:- Distributes all assignments and responsibilities to members of the Data Integrity team and confirms completion of time-sensitive tasks- Performs quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency within automatic system processes and amongst members of Data Integrity team- Acts as proxy manager when Data Integrity manager is unavailable - Collaborates with other departments to develop current processes, diagnose system inadequacies, and implement new strategies and operations Much of the duties of the team lead also involve providing support to Data Integrity team members by assisting with claims issues, network or system errors, and the management of client file submissions.

The main goal of the analyst is to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the provider, member, and claim databases and ensure the continued success of the system processes that are used throughout the company. Tasks include:- Claims processing and the resolution of claim submission issues- Analyzing and resolving system malfunctions and reporting known issues and subsequent results to upper management- Creating training documents for new team members and other departments- Uploading and managing client file submissions- Assisting with client implementation- Completing provider demographic updates- Providing customer service to both clients and providers- Resolving provider, client, and member network problems
