I am a driven, compassionate, and reliable Advanced Practice Nurse. Since becoming an NP in 2014, I have worked as an Emergency Department NP, Nurse Leader, Hospitalist, Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner, and a Program Coordinator for a Pulmonary Embolism Response Team at North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, CO.I have also helped build, lead, and oversaw the creation of two APP led PreOperative Clinics designed to streamline patients undergoing elective surgery that require medical clearance. I have also worked in EHR clinical product development for an Emergency Department EHR where I was utilized for beta testing, showcasing, and serving as a clinical site support specialist for new production rollout support. I draw on my prior experiences to handle the multifaceted stresses and pressures of an ever changing healthcare landscape, especially as healthcare continues to blend seamlessly into the digital landscape. I understand the importance of the human condition and our desires to feel heard and connected as patients seek personal care through their providers and community.I am a self-starter, highly motivated, detail oriented, and able to deliver a unique experience to the staff and colleagues I work with, as well as to the patients and families that I treat. I am a team player and advocate not only for the safety and care for the patients I provide services to, but to the rest of the team entrusted to deliver that care. My passion lies in the patient experience and the lives I touch through compassion, empathy, and teaching.
