I was employed as a foreman for one year in Ballyquin sandpit,responsibilities were day to day running of the location, production, maintenance, environmental, purchasing, Health and Safety and end of month accounts.I was also involved in similar roles in the Roadstone Ballyneety location and alternated between the two locations as was required.

I was employed as a site engineer with Roadstone road contracts 2nd phase of the Newmarket by pass directly in charge of the quality of the laying of H.R.A, previous to that I was an engineering foreman overseeing the sub-base on the 1st phase of the Newmarket by-pass. My job entailed most areas of a typical engineering foreman’s position from setting out and levels, ordering of materials, project planning, qualitycontrol and management of men and machinery.Employed on the Adare bypass as site engineer, also I completed a number of surfacing contracts on national routes and completed macadam surfacing projects on large underground car parks.
