Responsible for directing all aspects of security across the William Hill retail business encompassing circa 2400 sites, leading a team of more than 70 people with accountability for a significant operating budget and considerable capital investment. In particular, responsible for all loss prevention activities, focussed on robberies, burglaries and employee fraud; delivering substantial annual cost savings. Work closely with a range of external stakeholders and suppliers to develop best practice and innovative product/system applications.

Responsible for leading the establishment and development of a new Central Security function, including the recruitment, training and leadership of more than 60 employees. Developed a comprehensive range of policies, procedures and practices; ensuring their full implementation across the operation.
