In this Profit and Loss role, Gerard was responsible for the performance of the Calgary Infrastructure business unit. This General Management role included managing a transition in reporting structure and organisation from the Komex heritage (acquired) business to the WorleyParsons Calgary business (heritage Colt).

In this strategic and business development role, Gerard was responsible for building the business from it's background in environmental projects into a broader Infrastructure consulting and project delivery business. A key project bid and won included the Arctic LNG project for Petro-Canada which included port, camp, pipeline, power, logistics, roads.

In this Profit and Loss role, Gerard was responsible for the performance of the Calgary Infrastructure & Environment office within the legacy Komex business. For this office of about 250 people, Gerard restructured operations, reduced overhead and improved chargeability within the first three months. Morale and strategic direction was improved over.
