The challenge was to provide a reliable answer to the technical and economic issues faced by all industrial players ready to decarbonize their activities.The encounters I’ve had throughout my professional journey have led me to a conviction: methane is a powerful ally for our energy transition. This resource is available in large volumes and requires little energy to be transformed into decarbonized hydrogen. Additionally, methane is used solely in the energy sector, with no other competing uses.The key is to change how we use natural gas. It is crucial to stop burning methane and remove carbon before it generates energy! Sakowin is developing a methane plasmalysis solution, which decomposes (bio)methane into decarbonized hydrogen and solid carbon, two promising molecules for the energy transition sectors. To deploy this disruptive innovation, I can draw on my experience at Citrix. In the 1990s, this American startup pioneered what we now know as Cloud Computing, at a time when we were swimming against the stream. This experience has taught me the importance of believing in one's vision when it comes to creating a new market, as Citrix quickly became the leader in the market it had created.
