Contract and Commercial Manager for the Rig Refurbishment and Land Rig revenue streams, liaising closely with existing and potential clients in business development opportunities, review of and negotiation of all bids for minor and major projects within the revenue stream. Oversee and monitor all project post-contract related activities from project initiation to project closeout, management and financial reporting. Development of revenue stream budget forecasts and P&L reports in accordance with Company Policies. Support Company proposals and operations teams with commercial support across all project types and revenue streams as required.

I am currently working with Lamprell Energy Plc a regional market leader in the rig market. Lamprell is a leading provider of diversified engineering and contracting services to the onshore and offshore oil & gas and renewable energy industries.My roles with Lamprell have included being a project quantity surveyor reporting to the contracts manager on a number of rig refurbishment projects. I am currently the project QS on an EPC new build jack up Rig project for a major Oil and Gas contractor.My duties include preparing, cost estimates, cost plans, cost analysis, cash flows, forecasting, monthly cost reports, invoicing, sub contract appraisals / evaluation & administering of sub contracts and preparation of final accounts.

Over these summer's I have been working with Lamprell Energy as a commercial assistant for an oil rig building and refurbishment contractor based in UAE.My Duties included looking after all the client’s needs on a commercial basis, processing any quotes required by the client on site and then submitting such quotes to the client, keeping all project files up to do date both hard& soft copies. I also prepared weekly reports for the client and the upper management, Invoicing the agreed contract stages and any further work done and preparing any variations on the project.

Assisting the Contracts manager in all aspects of quantity surveying in a number of projects.
